You'll find something to satisfy every taste at Arizona's hundreds of indoor and outdoor malls, antique stores, clothing boutiques, gift shops, and art galleries -- to name just a few venues. You'll also find plenty of nightspots, theaters, and other places to relax, and plenty of good places to enjoy wonderful meals.
Prescott Gateway provides shoppers with the best of both worlds - a traditional indoor shopping experience with 60 stores and an outdoor Village with 30 shops and restaurants with stunning views of the Bradshaw Mountains and an outdoor amphitheatre.
Prescott offers a seemingly endless menu of outstanding events. During the long 4th of July weekend, Prescott Frontier Days and the World's Oldest Rodeo provide action-packed rodeo competition, Arizona's second-largest parade and the Rodeo Dance. The Annual Cowboy Poets Gathering held in August is a fascinating blend of traditional and contemporary poems, songs and stories of the Old West's most popular symbol, the American Cowboy.
Preserving other facets of early Prescott life are two other museums, the Smoki Museum and the Phippen Museum of Western Art. The Smoki displays Native American artifacts from the region and the Phippen offers a broad variety of Western Art, including some traveling exhibitions.
